ME again..electrician is her to add a 30 amp plug. Panel box is full and will be big expense to add panel, drill in brick wall, and crawl in attic.
Decided I do not...
Dave F. replied:
Billy White.. 50 amps in an RV circuit is still 120 volts.. So is 30 amp and 20 amp.. 50 amps is just split between two 120 volt circuits.. There is never 220 volts in an RV.. 50 amps in a regular house would be 220 volts
Bob L. replied:
Dave Fulmer we have a 220 dryer in our rig. So never say never
Bob L. replied:
Dave Fulmer, hate to break your bubble, but been in 5 different campgrounds for a little over 100 days with my 220 dryer drying just fine, and twice as fast as your 110 dryer. Back to original post now you can run your converter and frig on 15 amp plug, did it for years in our drive before we started full-timing.
Bob L. replied:
Ray Herron, no i have a normal 50 amp plug that supplies 2 110 legs to the rig. The Manufacture DRV undoubtly is tieing these 2 legs together after the panel. We do have a normal 220 dryer plug behind the dryer, and a 220 dryer. And Dave is correct it will not run on a 30 amp, 15 amp, or 12 volts dc, but of ourse I dont think anyone said it would.

Like I said. I'm no electrician. 110/115/120. Or 220/230/240. They have been called by many names over the years. But somehow they still run the old and the new things. The voltage may be changed to protect the innocent. But the power of them volts remain the same. ...See More
My handyman is fabulous -- Julie's sister Susan Williams actually referred him to me. His name is Harry Bassett@(813) 624-3729. Please let him know that I referred him if you use him! He is phenomenal with any kind of dry/sheet wall work too! And, he's punctual and honest!!! Another friend of mine used him for several projects (one that was REALLY difficult) and she loves him too! Good luck!
To our local FB friends...We are needing to hire a plumber and electrician for our upcoming back patio project. If you are interested and/or know someone who does good...
