I've heard good things about 12 tattoos in Groton. I used to see George at Skin Graphics but they closed and he moved to spirit gallery in New London where I've gotten work done and loved it. Certain artists specialize in different styles so keep that in mind when choosing a place too.

I go to Bill Rocha at Hobo's in Portsmouth. He's awesome! I've heard great things about Jason Scott at Congress St. tattoo as well, it's like a 5 minute walk from Hobo's and they're sister shops I think.
