Can anyone recommend a reputable jeweler.
I'm looking to get an estimate, to enlarge a ring with a white gold band .

Mike Rivard had a jewlery shop in the McDonald's plaza, but relocated to Lexington (when the former owner kicked everyone out). Good guy, always been friendly and fair. He's at the Tates Creek shopping plaza, in Lexington. http://www.rivardfinejewelry.com

There's a wonderful place in Nicholasville called The Alternative Jewelry Shop. Owners Libby & Danny Barnes. It's on Main Street. Nicest couple, I've known them for many years.

GDA Jewelers on Southland Drive. The settings in my wedding set had worn, and they did a beautiful job replacing the part the diamond goes in as well as resizing it without losing the engraving on the inside.

Does anyone know where I might be able to get hold of a Bith / Cantina Band mask and hands set? Have been after one for a while but so far have been out of luck.

Ok Hive mind I have a question.
I need to get a new band saw my budget is 125-275. What would you recommend? I need a fence and a tiltable bed please.

This and a Timberwolf band saw blade: https://pensacola.craigslist.org/tls/d/delta-rockwell-bandsaw/6543655221.html

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00367WB0G/?coliid=I1PAJPI9HZ5U5O&colid=1EMWZKK7SAWZA&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it I chose this one specifically because of the blade size. With this you can swap blades to more effective cutting types. Scallop for foam, low TPI for large cuts and high TPI for even metal. Scroll types, ripping types, and so on. I have seen a couple of variations of this bandsaw for sale, but it's got lot's of competitors out there making replacement parts cheap and easy. It has rolling guides, pin guides, adjustment nobs in all the right places. It is on my "to buy" list as soon as I have the extra cash.
Anyone know how I can trim these blocks down so I can get a flat uniform shape on all sides? I don't have access to a band saw, so I am open to suggestions.
Matt D. replied:
Belt sander, but keep it flat. I think Evil Ted has a YouTube vid on it.
Josh C. replied:
They got cheap ones at Harbor Freight. And if you're only going to be using it for foam projects their tools hold up perfectly fine.
Anyone know of a tutorial for this kind of hand? I understand how to do most of it, but what I can't seem to figure out is how the fingers go back to their original...
Found my father's old Panama hat and I'd love to restore it into Alan Grant's hat from the first Jurassic Park.
I've got to patch two holes and add a sweatband, as well...
Wanted: band instruments (specifically saxophones!)
Anyone have any old band instruments laying around that they would like to see go to teach beginning band students??...
I have a request to make. Does anyone remember Der Citadel? The rock band had Jim Subler, Max Gehle, Jeff Stover, and Tim Schultz as members. I am looking for pictures...
