Doggie Daycare Recommendations? Anyone have a doggy daycare recommendation? Hopefully something more affordable...

My neighbor likes DogTown on Manchester, they have a Facebook page so you can see picture if your dog throughout the day. I also recommend South Broadway Vet Clinic for overnight boarding. Not only do I love the vet and staff, but when I keep my dogs boarded, if anything were to go wrong the vet will contact me immediately and is able to provide life saving treatment. Yes, I am an over-protective, paranoid pet owner!

Dogtown is great. The owner loves dogs and her staff is great. My husky has been going there since she was a pup. Cage free daycare means well exercised and healthy dogs!

Try SnaggleFoot! They are pretty awesome and reasonably priced too. Have used them for years.

Not a daycare yet but if you're looking for a great vet there is a new one open on Harrodsburg road near Ramsey's. Dr. Yocum is the only vet anywhere near lexington doing stem cell therapy probably added a good 5 years into my dogs life.

We use Pawsitively Paradise Dog Resort on Georgetown Road. We buy 10 days at a time and get one free. It averages out to $16 per day and my dog comes home happy and worn out from all the play time. When we head out of town on trips we have used Pet Suites in the past, but going forward we will most likely use Rosetree Dog Training/Boarding. She only takes a few in for boarding, will work on any training you may have and she keeps the dogs in her home, not in a kennel.

We use Critter Sitters if we just need someone to come by and feed/walk/play with the dog for a couple days, or Uptown Hounds to board if we're going to be out of town for several days (fairly pricey, but one of the few places that has great dane-sized kennels). I highly recommend both of them.

Like where you drop your dog off daily or like where you are on vacation and rather not use a kennel?

I work for Critter Sitters of Lexington so of course I highly recommend them ;) We will sit your pets at home which really, really help cuts down on anxiety. Let me know if you have any questions!

Woodford Vet clinic in Versailles has a kennel. It's sort of a drive but it's on the way to work for me so it works. www.woodfordkennel.com Daycare is only $9 and includes walks and running time outside in the fenced in area. They are awesome people and really love the dogs.
I am looking for childcare for my 2 year old m-f full day and 7 year old after school. If anyone has any spots available and is interested, please message me to discuss...

The Academy at Vers United Methodist Church & the Montessori School might be options for your 2 year old right now! Saint Leo's has a wonderful, full time, Pre School program with after school care as an option too but not until they are 3! What about ETC for your 7 year old? That is through school.
