I feel like I plug my employers every damn time this pops up (but I think they're great). https://www.crittersittersoflexington.com/ We do in-home visits that can be a lot less stressful on your doggies. It's a little pricey, about $17/30 minute visit but you can be sure that we will walk your dogs if requested and give them all the lovins we can in 30 minutes. I switched to them for my pet care (before working for them) because I just couldn't be sure that these boarding places would exercise my dog as he needed...

I use Woodford Kennel - out in Versailles on Versailles Road. I think it is around $40 a day - but the place is clean and safe and run by a Vet's office. Nice folks. http://www.woodfordkennel.com/

We have always used Petsuites, they are a little pricey, but our dog always seemed to enjoy it. You can find the rates on their website, it depends on the size of your dog and what kind of amenities you want him to have, from a normal kennel to these crazy suites. Highly recommend Critter Sitters, we always use them if we're just out for a day or two since our dog gets anxious and won't eat for the first day or so of boarding.
