Amy Lejune is in the inverness UAB clinic. Fairly easy to get an appointment with. I like her, and I'm a nurse, so my evaluation is a little different.
Okay friends. I need a doctor. A general internal medicine doctor. Anyone have a favorite?
Julie G. replied:
Carrie Huner!!
Marti S. replied:
Not a Dr. Chaney fan either. Everyone I know that has seen her is on B-12 shots. Last time I saw her (3 years ago..and the time before that) she was visibly annoyed at my questions about my health. I see Dr. Rebecca Byrd now. I guess I'm happy with her.... last time I felt rushed...but could have been a bad day. Just my 2 cents... not worth much, but it's all I got! LOL
Brett H. replied:
Definitely need to check out Dr Mark Rickets. I hear him on the radio a lot and he is so knowledgeable about many things.

Jennifer F. replied:
I will be a nay-sayer. I didn't like Dr. Chaney. She never had time for me--I felt like I was being rushed through a drive-thru at McDonald's. I think she is very good, medically speaking, but she doesn't want to stay and listen to you. That happens to be very important to me.

Dr. Pearce is awesome. Same office, unfortunately. So sorry about Brooks.
Courtney F. replied:
Looks like Dr Romp is a winner. Many recommendations from him but it looks like he is in the same office. Would that be weird? Wondering if the same insensitive nurses would be calling back.

Erica Terry Hammond?

Who are you with now? Jackson saw Dr. Johnson at UAB (PDA) and we were pleased.
Courtney F. replied:
Dr.McMahon is his current dr. And I really liked him in person. But I've had to call twice with difficulty breathing and symptoms of congestive heart failure and the nurse has been so rude.
