Try calling the vets and explaining your situation. I use the Animal hospital on Baldwin Ferry and couldn't afford to pay 800 dollars when my dog got in rat poison and they had to do all sorts of things to save him. I spoke to the doctor and he was absolutely understanding and told me to pay when I could. I love love love Dr Ruggles and Dr Cordes !!! It never hurts to ask, I bet any of them you call (ask to talk to the vet, better yet I would go up there) would be willing to work with you.
