Yup. A nice thing about the repairability of Kenmore is that they were just rebranded stuff made by major manufacturers so the parts network isn't affected by the loss of Sears.

Quadra appliances has been super awesome. Twice they have give me free advice and save me $$ instead of just coming out and saying, “yup it is broken, that will $100 please”. The other time the repair was very reasonable.

>I know Kenmore was a sears brand and they have closed, but I'm fairly sure they just rebranded the Kenmore lines as Whirlpool. It's the other way around, Kenmore is just rebranded Whirlpool. I had Westcoast appliances fix a portable dishwasher for me. This was quite a few years ago, but they did the job well with no hassle.

Consider some googling and ordering the part from reliable parts. Appliance repair outfits are so busy in the last few years that I've learned to do my own. If it's just the control board you can easily do it yourself.

I recommend Turcotte Appliance or secondly Sidney Appliances. Have worked with both over the years, both are local, very professional people that will do it right and not over charge.
