Looking for a recommendation for appliance repair person / company (for a dishwasher) Hey all. I searched the sub and the last rec's were over 5 years ago, so here...

Try ASAP Appliance Repair. I used them to fix a washer and it was awesome. Dude was incredibly friendly and fast. If memory serves me correct its a flat rate and he guarantees the work for like 4 or 5 months, not sure about parts. Obviously parts are on top of that, in my case he had the parts in the van so everything was fixed that day. Would highly recommend.

Les is great. We had him fix a few things over the years and I think his prices were reasonable. https://m.yelp.ca/biz/less-appliance-repair-victoria

Quadra Appliances is good. It's pretty much a one-man operation and he has a pretty thick Chinese accent, so if you have trouble with accents or timing is a major factor then maybe skip them. Disclaimer aside, I have found him to be honest almost to a fault. He is very upfront about whether a repair is worth doing, what it would cost and so on. He also recycles old appliances so if the repair is going to be expensive he can also sell you a used one for cheap to keep you going until you can afford to buy the dishwasher of your dreams.
