My recommendation is to get a Tradesman rather than a "handyman" EDIT: what people dont seem to realize is that ANYBODY can call themselves a handyman. my 4 year old can pronounce herself a handyman. if you want a job done right you dont call a handyman, you call a professional installer. maybe im just jaded with having to deal with fixing dangerous handyman electrical work and i do realize op isnt asking for electrical to be done. that being said there are professional millwork companies that specialize in closets. usually they employ actual carpenters. there is an entire industry built around putting shelves in closets. are shitty tradesmen out there though. thats for sure
