Can anybody...
I believe Franz Vesely's response is all that is needed; earlier I responded to Jutta's request on her home page by saying: I have found it extensively "cited" on the Internet, but without direct attribution. I was unable to find a reference in any of the English books in my collection. Alexander Batthyany has the source, I believe.

I too Agee, Charles, the word "stimulus" always seemed wrong to me; at least wrong in that I cannot envision Dr. Frankl choosing that particular word. It sounds too much like traditional behaviorism. Even a bit Pavlovian.
