Allison, as a chiropractor and father I can tell you that they are incorrect about their position. CT only has 2 options, religious and medical. We also sent our kids to a daycare and they accepted the religious exemption, although their nurse tried to bully my wife first...bless them for trying, right? Here's my page about vaccinations and near the top is a link to CT's religious exemption form. Yes, it's part of my webpage. Hope this helps! Dr. Russhttp://drcaram.com/should-you-get-a-flu-shot/

In your state you only have medical and religious.. Here is a religious exemption for your state. Now there should be a statute that states you do not have to disclose your religion for this benefit... If you do disclose a religion it doesn't matter what religion because most of them use the bible and the bible states your body is a temple that you shall not poison- so technically most religions shouldn't be getting vaccinated that is if they read the bible. So either medical or religious... Nvic.orghttp://www.ct.gov/dph/lib/dph/infectious_diseases/immunization/exemptions/rel_exempt.pdf

I think daycare in general follows state rules and it seems Co. has good exemption policy - aside from the fact there should be no vax laws in the first place http://www.nvic.org/Vaccine-Laws/state-vaccine-requirements/colorado.aspx State Vaccine Requirements – National Vaccine Information Center www.nvic.org Information about vaccine requirements listed by US States.

Were I live if the daycare takes government money even for lunch reimbursement (food program) they must allow exemptions. http://www.nvic.org/Vaccine-Laws/state-vaccine-requirements/colorado.aspx State Vaccine Requirements – National Vaccine Information Center www.nvic.org Information about vaccine requirements listed by US States.

I've heard Dr. Kono in the denver area is wonderful. Very non vax friendly. A little farther away than Boulder but worth the drive if you can't find anyone closer. I know a lot of people out there that love him.

Generation Rescue has a whole list state by state of healthcare practitioners that sympathize with parents choosing not to vaccinate.
