Does anybody have a reasonably priced online source for teak lumber with maybe free shipping to continental U.S., they could recommend??
George M. replied:
Vienna Hardwoods in Vienna, VA ask for John Sliney the owner
Todd T. replied:
Teak Deck, inc. Sarasota, Florida. They do custom, DIY, caulking supplies, etc. they also do all the teak for beneteau usa and many powerboat companies. Their yard looks like a full fledged lumber mill.
Harley M. replied:
Look at the doors made by Benji, ventspleen.com
Schooner M. replied:
Frost Hardwood in San Diego (so-so pricing) or call San Diego Boat Movers to ask if they have a pile of teak from a dismantled boat. They have a storage yard and sometimes have wood but its hit or miss and that's still a day's drive from you (cheaper to buy and ship from one of the other places...)
George M. replied:
When you talk to John Sliney tell him I told you to call him, have known him for years. The phone # is 703-255-9663.
