Looking for an antique pocket watch for my husband. Any suggestion on where to go? I called a couple of places but nobody has any.

There's a huge flea/antique market at the Dulles expo center this weekend, if you can/want to get out to the far burbs. It's really great! http://www.thebigfleamarket.com/dc-show/

If you're willing to travel, House of Time in Gettysburg specializes in antique timepieces. They'd probably ship, too.

Ask Gene Weingarten at the post, either in his Tuesday chats or on Twitter. Dude is a clock fiend.

Check out georgetown tobacco -- has lots of antique metal things for men. I'm not sure how much you are trying to spend but another option is higher-end jewelry stores that handle estate pieces. They tend to stick to high-end estate pieces though.

I don't know if they have pocket watches, but there's a badass clock store in Vienna, that might be able to point you in the right direction. It's probably worth a call at least. Their website is clockshopofvienna.com
