Dr. Patino. I'm pretty sure that is the dental insurance we have...call delta dental and ask providers are in your area. I know we pay a little more because he isn't a preferred provider for us. If we went to one that was on the list the insurance would cover more.

I saw Dr. Gilbert Lam when I got all the work done. I believe that they have a payment plan at the office. He did the crown, two fillings and cleaning. Still need another root canal but waiting till next year.

Do not ever go to western dental. Just don't. You get what you pay for with almost everything. Dr Barnes on Mooney just east of Wendy's and A&W is an excellent place with amazing staff and the work is always done with care and precision!

if you dont mind the drive Dr. Dean Kim hes in woodlake is amazing he takes everthing as well as uninsured people and hes affortable went in for my wisdom fast and painless !!!! love the guy

If u walk into Family Healthcare and are in pain....they will squeeze you in. Keep insisting how much pain you are in and don't back down. (My mom use to work there) good luck and hope you feel better!

Thank you everyone! So many great suggestions. I was able to make an appointment for Thursday with Dr. Dean Kim DDS in Woodlake. He takes Denti-Cal and comes with a hood recommendation from Rosa Fagundes.

Stay as far away from Dr Barnes as u can!

Dr Barnes "work done with precision and care" resulted in etching acid burn to lip, negligence in crown prepping, inadequate placement of bridge, misdiagnosis and failure to refund $2000 paid in advance for work not done!

You may want to try Hanford or Kingsburg. Dr Farried at the Smile Center is good in Kingsburg.....may have spelled his name wrong.

Dental society won't pick up, Dr. Barnes, not til the end of October, Western Dental is a last resort, bad experience last time. Working on the other recommendations. Thank you all so much.

Sequoia Dental on Hillsdale.

That's a bummer. I've been going to Sequoia Dental for nearly 20 yrs and have never had a bad experience. I've heard a lot of negative things about Western Dental though. Even by their employees.

Hate to be a naysayer, but I believe this is only going to get worse with ACA. We self-insure (pay cash) with Dr. Hover and have absolutely no complaints. Sabrina, hope your appt. ended successfully.
