We (my daughter was the bride) had a very bad experience with Southern Video Design (videography) Would never recommend him. My daughter was married last May almost a year ago and we just received the video. He would seldom respond to emails, phone calls, or texts. Glad to take your required full amount of money before the service was provided and was horrible to work with afterwards. He left out MANY important moments during the highlight video and also during the documentary video that was supposed to include everything. Didn't get the mothers being ushered into the wedding, the father of the groom in the wedding, the bride and groom leaving in the car from the reception, lots of things, I could go on and on. We used Tara Parker Photography and she was really good. She took all of the photographs and her husband works with her. Our venue was Highgrove Estate in Fuqua-Varina and we HIGHLY recommend them if you don't have one. They have wedding packages you can choose from and upgrades. Beautiful place, wonderful staff. NC Museum of Art. They have a couple reflection pools that are gorgeous for pictures. Great flowers also.

I am a photographer and I love taking pictures at Joyner Park, it has a very rustic feel to it. Duke Gardens is beautiful but it is $50 for a permit. Pullen Park is also a great option if you want water. The picture below was taken at Joyner park!
