Dare P. replied:
I'm not really sure I understand what you are looking for, help me out! Are you looking for a group like a Meetup group? Or a class? Wake Forest Yoga www.wakeforestyoga.com isn't a gym & there's no membership, same for Yoga Blyss with Conni. Both are private studios with drop in fees or group packages. Sheila Gooch & Marty Gooch also organize a free yoga class every Sunday morning at 8:30 in Joyner Park. There's a Facebook group that they can add you to. Another option for a group would be to start your own & hires yoga teacher to do semi privates. Good luck!!

Wake Forest Yoga offers several beginner class options! www.wakeforestyoga.com Come check us out! We would love to meet you. Also, on Sunday mornings at Joyner Park there is a free yoga class led by local area teachers, teachers & styles vary each week. 8:30-9:30 am near the small stage & garden close to the barns & houses. Bring a towel (grass is wet) and a mat. There is a guided meditation directly after as well, about 15 minutes led by Cindy Tilbe Karas.
Cindy K. replied:
Thanks Dare! ... it's actually Daily Energy Routine (exercises) that take only about 15 min/day to get your energy flowing in your body and ground, and balance!

Wake Forest Yoga Studio. Avoid yoga classes at gyms because instructions don't have time to teach, they just tell you what to do. The only way to actually learn yoga is to go to a dedicated studio. https://www.facebook.com/Wake-Forest-Yoga-110537385650387/

Elizabeth H. replied:
If you are free on weekdays, there is a great instructor through Parks & Rec with drop in classes (or you can sign up for a full session.) Pilates is Monday at 10 at Flaherty, and Yoga is Wednesday at 10 at the Community House. Both classes are suitable for beginners.
Samantha S. replied:
Try piyo,it's a mixture of both in one class,Contact Zumba by Claudia Lissette

Motion Fitness has an hour long class on Wednesdays 5:15-6:15 and 1.5 hours on Sundays 3:30-5. Stephanie is a wonderful instructor. She teaches (not just leads) and gives students modifications based on ability and experience. Her first class is free.
Can anyone recommend a local yoga class that meets here in WF? I am in search of one! Thank you(:
Rochelle B. replied:
Rex Wellness has quite a few at different hours, on different days, with different instructors. You're bound to find at least one that suits you! All you can take for one fee. No initiation charge promotion through the 28 th. We love it there!
