Maine Coast Petroleum. I have used them for the past five years. Reasonably priced and very good to deal with. I highly recommend. http://www.mainecoastpetroleum.com/
What heating fuel company do you recommend? Pay cash or go with a plan?

Have found Downeast Energy to usually be cheapest. We also like Fabian Oil. Not always cheapest but excellent customer service. We prefer cash. Please note that with these and other companies, it can be cheaper to order from them online than it is to via phone. Also, as it's a very competitive market, many offer 'new customer discounts' on your first order, so it is good to shop around.

Tidewater Oil Company. They have great service, I usually have to call them once a year and it's usually freezing out. They come as soon as possible (usually same day), and their prices are reasonable. I pay after delivery.

M & L Heating Services in Hope. They are great to deal with.
Really depends on what you are looking for and the area you live in as most here have already mentioned a lot of good options. Maritime Energy in Rockland has offices in Nobleboro, Rockland, Belfast, Montville, and South China. Full 24/7 coverage and a lot of options available for heating plans to include #2 heating fuel, K1, propane, and biofuel. They have been in business since 1939 and are locally owned and operated. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions and I would be happy to answer anything I can.

Any recommendations on places that fix air conditioning units in autos?

Michele W. replied:
FYI: Just make sure if you have your a/c fixed in the car to make sure afterwards that both the a/c AND the heat work. My mom had the heat stop in the car, so she had it fixed at Rockport Auto, but because it was cold out at that time never thought to also check the a/c afterwards...well by the time she checked it when it was warm enough, the air didn't work when it was fine before that, and of course by then it's too late to say anything about it.
