Does anyone has any really good advise or knows a dog trainer in tranent area desperately in need of a change... Our dog was always a bit stubborn but behaving ok.. But...
Sue S. replied:
Nadine Peaston, your pup has been through alot (including major trauma), and is at a difficult age, showing several behavior problems. I urge you to work one-on-one with a positive professional trainer/behaviorist! You have had some suggestions above, please contact one of them. Most of these problems are pretty normal puppy/adolescent stuff, but will not be fixed quickly, nor by random information given on a FB group. Here are additional resources: For behavioural practitioners: COAPE, APBC, UKRCB, IAABC, AVSAB, CAAB, ACVB CCPDT certified trainers: http://www.ccpdt.org/ Karen Pryor Academy trainers: https://www.karenpryoracademy.com/find-a-trainer?source=kpctnavbarThe Academy for Dog Trainers (Jean Donaldson) http://www.academyfordogtrainers.com/ Victoria Stilwell certified trainers: http://positively.com/dog-training/trainersearch/ Pet Professional Guild trainers: http://www.petprofessionalguild.com/DogTrainingMembers Truly Dog Friendly trainers http://www.trulydogfriendly.com/blog/?page_id=2

Does anyone know a great expert dog trainer in South Florida? Need some work with Louie!
Joanne T. replied:
Andrea - FB won't let Joanne Lekas respond. That FB! She said you should go to www.apdt.com to find a good trainer there. You can do a trainer search by putting in your zip code.
Joanne T. replied:
Not in South Florida - but my cousin Joanne Lekas who lives on the Cape might. She is the best dog trainer there is!
