You could always start by going into paradise. There are cabins on Lake superior to rent. Had to Whitefish Bay interview The Edmunds Fitzgerald a museum at the lighthouse. Visit the taquamninon falls, of course that's not spelled correctly. There are upper and lower Falls. You can visit the brewery that's at the upper Falls. Then go down the road to the Oswald bear ranch. Also could spend some time in Lake Superior. It is awesome up there
*West Pier in the Sault has amazing burgers! *There's a great place to eat at the upper Tahquamenon falls, and it's also a neat spot and there's a nice road to it. *H-58 is a rd that connects grand marais to munising - it has the beach at grand marais, the log jam, a light house.. *if you make it up to copper harbor, Brockway mountain is a must! And you have to stop at the Jam Pot on the way! It's a bakery run by local monks

Wayne Newman if you're going through the Marquette area you need to stop in lakenenland it's about 20 miles before Marquette you can camp in the back for free and it has free wood we've camped there a few times https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g42441-d618207-Reviews-Lakenenland_Sculpture_Park-Marquette_Upper_Peninsula_Michigan.html
We took a trip from Tawas City to Bay City, picked up 3 more couples and went to Kewadin in Sault Ste Marie, then to Brimley, across 28 to Christmas, on to 41 south to Escabana, then to Harley Dealer in Green Bay, WI, then along 2 back to the Bridge. Of course we were Casino Hopping! LOL But it was an awesome ride. Going back to Sault Ste Marie for the HOG Rally Aug 17-19 Going to be another awesome ride! Enjoy

Grand Marais is a hidden gem. Check out the Brewery and the Pickle house while you visit!

Munising, the waterfalls area great, take H-58 along the northern part, it is really curvy, be careful of the stones on the road though and cagers not watching for oncoming traffic. Also Grand Marais and the brewery there. Grab a map of the waterfalls in munising and explore. On the way back stop at Clydes in the soo and grab a burger, you won't be disappointed.

Blue Spruce Inn in Port Austin. Super nice peeps & just a couple of blocks down from Lake Huron. And then Bridgeview Super 8 in Mackinac City. They had us pull our bikes up under the entry way so they could keep an eye on them from the front desk. Tunnel of Trees is a must!
