There's a couple of websites you might find useful care.com and borrowmydoggy.com. good luck hope you find an excellent haven for your dog. So upsetting hearing these stories about Rose Tree I couldn't ever imagine using a kennels if I had a dog is rather try all my friends family neighbours or colleagues first and then the vetted borrowers or sitters online xx
Joanna C. replied:
By the way care.com also is for pet carers not just childcare lol

Our BT, Murphy stays at Rose Tree Kennels up by Fiddlers Ferry and they're fab. Also highly recommend Jill Beresford who walks him weekly X
Stacie H. replied:
You must be the only person I've heard of with something good to say about Rose Tree Kennels. The amount of horror stories from there are ridiculous and I wouldn't wish my worst enemy to put a dog in there after what they did to our boy.He was throttled, given irreversible throat damage which now affects him for the rest of his life, deliberately starved and left seriously ill untreated yet according to the manager "that's just how some dogs react to kennels". If I ever set foot in that place again it would be to rip it to the ground.horrible people and a horrible experience. So glad we found Jill Beresford after that who is an absolute star with our two and gives them a huge amount of love and attention.
Anne J. replied:
We've used Rose Tree for 4 years with Murphy and a couple of years before him for our old dog. Always found the staff to be lovely and Murphy is always very waggy tailed when he goes in. He's not an easy dog to manage as he has massive issues with other dogs. That's why he can't home board with Jill or anyone else with dogs. I'm really sorry you had such an awful experience at Rose Tree, sounds hideous. Glad you found Jill, she's wonderful
Jane S. replied:
Please dont go to Rose Tree. My dog came home coughing (he had been vaccinated) and his personality changed for a while afterwards. Xx
Joanne W. replied:
Jo Grant Small Paws or Kate Priestley Paws First - both do home boarding for small dogs

The Ring, Rhosgoch. There are a few pitches behind the pub. Central, cheap, good food and a pleasant atmosphere. Stayed there a lot. 01407 830720
