My vet says Frontline doesn't work. Both my dog and cat have had flea issues this year (its a terrible year for it) and they are both allergic. Huge vet bills for allergy injections, antibiotics etc. We are now using Revolution and it also comes in pill form where you KNOW that its being absorbed. Also bought some spray from the vet to use on our carpets, etc. They advise against any kind of "flea bombs". Good Luck. It will get better now that the weather is changing.

I tried several remedies and exterminators but last year tried Marvin Wilkerson and they've been the best. Cheapest price and only had to come out once. 301-980-2428

I've had a lot of success using Terro ant bait. The instructions say to use just a few drops on a little cardboard target, but I find putting down a thin line of it tracking 10 or so inches of the line they follow near their point of entry works well after 2 or three applications. (Old School Hardware carries this product, and Annie's probably does too)

I use Sugarland. Highly recommended. I pay $35/month and that's with an outside trap for mice. One time I forgot to unlock the gate and the lady actually climbed the gate to get back there.

I don't know about houses, but J&J sprays our apartment. And by spray, the guy came in, did 3 squirts and left. Still have roaches. You might want to try buying the Home Defense spray from the store. We just ordered a tub of [Cypermethrin](https://www.domyown.com/cypermethrin-c-114_117.html) online about 4 years ago and spray the house ourselves every 3 months or so. So far so good. We have pets and it has not been an issue.

Maybe too far out of your way, but James Hubbard (Hubbard’s Pest Control) out of Eunice is AWESOME. He does not play around like Terminix. In all the years we have used him, I have never had to call him back to respray. I’m a customer for life.

Under no circumstances should you use Russ Pest Control...we had an awful, awful time with them (not showing up when scheduled, coming when they weren't scheduled...leaving the project unfinished for several weeks in the middle...and more!) We are currently using arrow post control and they have been great- working around our needs, coming out no charge to check on things or fix something that is not working, very polite service men.
