I can only speak from my own experience with Petco. I took my 4 month old Rottie there, and it was a waste of time and money. The class is a group class done in a small area, about 20' by 20'. There were 4 puppies in the class. It's pretty difficult to get a puppy to focus when he has a Black Lab barking in his face. I did four classes and then quit. I take him to Blue Ribbon Dog Training in Paris. If you want someone to come to your house, Gregg Smith Canine Consulting. 412-977-7307. He's very good.

What kind? They have so many areas now for enhancing lives, from classic mobility assistance, to seizure and diabetic warnings, hearing dogs and emotional support of many different kinds. Paws With a Cause is located in Southern Michigan but is now all over and uses trainers that go into the client's home to customize for his situation. I raised a pup for Canine Companions for Independence years ago and have heard from other puppy raisers that the support and program to do this thru PWAC is much better if anyone locally wants to try this. It is so rewarding but then the tough part comes when having to part with the dog that must go and do his job.
