I could tell you negatives about people who can't stop, but that won't help you. I went through a lot of tearing napkins up to keep my fingers busy. A friend quit with a hypnotist....there used to be one in Palmer who would do it for smoking. There is also a very good program available through the state. You should try calling them at 1-888-842-QUIT.

Go to Quitnet.com there are online forums great support. All kinds of people around the world talking about their experiences. I quit 5 years ago after 25 years. Start by making your car and house smoke free. Only smoke outside, even at 20 below. Then when you are ready, your home is your sanctuary. I used Chantix for only 4 weeks and used Quitnet.com. Besides eating my children, it is a successful quit. Never quit quitting! One failed attempt is just practice for the real deal. http://quitnet.com/qnhomepage.aspx

Hey Brian - acupuncture does work for a lot of people - call Premier Acupuncture - 745-7928 for a free consultation. They have a smoking cessation package deal - takes a couple of weeks.
