If she just wants info Steve Brown at the Cooperative Extension would be the person to talk to. If she wants someone to do it for her, I can't help there!

Loi Ricker, don't forget to mention sod may look great in the short term but seed will give you the far healthier lawn with less troubles in the future.
Loi R. replied:
Absolutely Sherri. Even sod needs 4" of soil under it. If you are really skilled you can repair with sod however the edges cannot be exposed and must be cut and fit tight over soil rather than over dead patches.

Thanks Jennifer VanPelt! I do offer lawn repair consultation and services. I am seeing more of this with last years dry summer and this years dry spring. To trouble shoot and make recommendations is a $125 site visit. 521-7872 Hydroseeding is not the answer.
Loi R. replied:
That is good to know Jessica Gipson, I will refer them for those that need hydroseeding! I do not specialize or usually hydroseed due to the many borders and custom features in my designs. The lawn install method I use puts 2 layers of seed on 6" of soil that has been rolled several times. Just putting info out as an option and do not compete with free estimates. Lawn repair is a whole different ball game. I am more of a garden coach, consultant and designer.
