My husband and I own Eagle Quality Landscaping, here in Gales Ferry. We are very familiar with the damp mossy yards in your neighborhood. Talk to a lawn care specialist, Holdridge's has much knowledge. I use a product called Moss Out made by Scotts or Lilly Miller. It is safe and uses soluble iron in the form as ferrous sulfate to get rid of moss. Improve sunlight, reduce the dampness and you will have a beautiful lawn.
