There is a dentist that sherah and I go to. Its in the Laurentain power centre right next to Target on the right . His name is Dr. Allen sun. Try it out and see if they can help you. Its the Laurentain Dental.

Are there dentist "chains"? Every dentist I've ever used for my whole life in this city has been "dr so-and-so" type offices where one or a few dentists share an office. Or are chain dentists more of a big city/Toronto thing? Edit: I suppose I should throw my recommendation out there for Rakita Family Dentisty. Super small little place, very honest guy. Left his last practise after some of the other dentists got too money hungry and borderline dishonest to increase billings (not his style).

I go to Smiles on king street. They are really good. Very professional. They offer all kinds of bells and whistles like massage chairs and heated neck towel if you want, but it's not too expensive either. They even give you the option of having a "quiet" experience where they don't try to have a conversation with you during your procedures. So that's a big plus for me.

Dr Kaus on Allen Street! Beautiful office and he's super honest! He actually (pre covid) had a practice in London England and flies between.

Dr. Surrendra Singh on Glasgow. Been going to him forever. I don’t think he’s part of a chain but he definitely works in a building with a couple of other dental offices. He’s excellent and personable. And his receptionist is amazing. They also have Netflix above your head in the case that you’re there for a longer procedure.

Dr. Mike Narayansingh, 97 Frederick St, Kitchener. Great guy and dentist. Took over for Dr. Gary Delanghe who was also a great guy and dentist. Have been going there since I was a UW student way back when.... Just all around kind and skilled people there.

I've been happy for years with the folks at Twin City Dental. One dentist, a small number of hygienists, 4 rooms, one receptionist. I've never had a bad experience with any of them.

Dr Vyas at Dawson dental on northfield. He is honest and extremely friendly. He sings when he works and he has a photoshop image of him working on a shark in his lobby. Best dentist ever.

Might be just out of range but I have no complaints with Dr Hurlbut at King East Dental. Its a bit past downtown on king, last intersection before it turns to the highway

I'll just make a comment that this is a trend - it used to be that dentists owned the practice and often the building they operated out of. This is becoming less the case - dentists work for a corp as employees or contractors almost like a hair stylist renting a seat. They want to practice dentistry not be business people or real estate investors. Or, even if they wanted to own, it's hard given capital investment needed, with modern expectations of fancy equipment, current real estate prices, etc.

Dr. Reddy at King St. Dental in Waterloo. I've been going there regularly for the past 10 years. Very nice modern cozy office with very friendly and professional staff. Highly recommend.

Dr Mahajan, on Dupont He is a short walk from King and doesn't seem into it just for the money. Been a patient for years with no unnecessary work. Also pain-free, no really.....has a steady hand and doesn't go light on the novocaine.

Also interested in hearing feedback from you guys. The past couple of dentists I've tried have been younger, like around 30-35, and they all want to drill my face every time I go in. Older dentists don't seem to have the same motivation for profit, so I would be keen to hear feedback about dentists you guys like.

My experience with Campus Dentist in SLC has been excellent. I grew up in KW and my old dentist didn't communicate what work they were doing, what was needed, how much it would cost, and they didn't interface with my insurance, so I had to send in my claims and receipts myself. Fillings were also very expensive because they didn't offer the 20% discount in-network dentists have. Campus dentist was friendly, informative, fast, and cheap. Plus they do all the insurance claim stuff for you. A filling was 20$, cleaning and checkup was free. Go to campus dentist

King Street Dental is friendly, cheap and convenient because they file everything. They also gave me a choice between a free electric toothbrush or a teeth whitening kit for being a new patient.

Marshall Pet Care Clinic. I tried calling the Waterloo Clinic when I first got my dog and I was told "they weren't taking new clients". When my dog got really sick about a year ago I called the Marshall Clinic in a panic and the vet came in early just to see my dog. That's great customer service!

Kw dental emergency on fairway road in the Canadian tire plaza (2 nd floor), Station Dental (Dr. Mackenzie) on the corner of Duke and breithaupt. They take OW and ODSP. Not sure what the holiday hours are for station, but the one on fairway should be open. Extractions, x-rays, fillings are covered. If you need to replace missing teeth, ask them there and they will refer you to a great office.:)

Tukakov downtown takes OW patients but do not go there. [Highland Dental](http://highlanddental.ca/index-1.html) (near Highland & Belmont) takes OW and they're pretty good, if a little unprofessional at times (in a clumsiness way, not in a rudeness way.)

Doesn't OW have dentists on their list or services? Figure there's got to be a few around this city. If you're serious pain...tea bag. I've dealt with dental issues for decades and been to a few dentists. Also, not sure if there's a dental school at one of the Universities? I had a tooth yanked in England at a dental school for free, because no dentist wanted to touch me due to red tape etc. Also, if you have to borrow cash or pay out of pocket, stay away from the Dentists that are into the cosmetic/vanity aspect. You can usually tell these ones from their signage "Cosmetic & family dentisty". I've been quoted a lot more money at these places. Also.... Oriental dentists are often way cheaper, faster and don't try to sell you $1000 root canals. Dr Woo in Listowel yanked some teeth for me for $126 a tooth, where as another dentist wanted to do root canals, crown etc. Just a thought and good luck..Dental pain can be brutal at times.

I've been going to TechTown Dentistry (http://www.techtowndentistry.com/) for about a year now and I've been happy with them. They're all very nice, and their office is very new. They're up by Northfield/Weber.

I've hated every dentist I've ever gone to, whether Thunder Bay, Vancouver, or the Tri-City area....EXCEPT Drs. deMan & Höediono. They and their team are completely amazing. Dr. Shigapov is the one who usually does the work on me specifically, and I've never had one complaint. And they DO have an on-staff anesthesiologist as well. Great offices too.....

Both dentists and all of the hygienists and reception at Applewood Dentists are great. They're on King at Spring in Waterloo. Just North of Ethel's.

if you go to ottawa south dental dont see dr bensky hes a hack. the other dentists there seem to be good however

I was recommended Dr Karen Lee, she's been the best dentist I've ever been to. What sold it for me as she was described as being judgement free to me. Not that my dental hygiene is bad, I just had a condescending dentist as a kid. That being said, I did have a cavity, but it was fairly pain free to get it fixed up. Staff was nice, place was clean.

I hated Dawson Dental near the Boardwalk. I had several cavities and only one was causing me pain. they worked on several tiny ones, no matter how many times I asked about the painful one, until my insurance ran out, leaving me in pain. River family dentistry actually listened to me and did that one first.

Dr. Hustwitt and Dr. Baier on Glasgow st. are both AMAZING. Our kids have been going to them for a few years now and everyone in that office is really good with kids. Our kids look forward to going to the dentist. Highly, highly recommend them.

My 4 yr old son recently needed a filling but wouldn't let our normal dentist near his tooth so they referred us to Smile Town in Cambridge who specifically work with children. So far they've been great!

Both our kids go to Dr. Hustwitt and have always seen Karen for the cleaning and she is awesome with the kids.

We have only had positive experiences with Dr. Hustwitt, he and his staff are wonderful with kids!

Excellent dentists Dr. Baier and Dr. Hustwitt....my 3 children go with them and has been a great experience. The hygienists are great too!

My eldest has special needs and when he was small he was petrified of the dentist. Couldn't even get him to sit in any dentist chair. We ended up going to Dr. Hustwitt. He was just awesome.

I echo the positive comments about Dr Hushwitt. The only negative part is in scheduling. Very busy practice. Can take a. Long time for treatment after check up

I agree with Dr. Ashraf on Northfield. Our family has been with him for 16 years. And he has been awesome with my kids starting from when they were 3 and 6 years old:) And he has late hour and Sat appts which are great!

I go to Dr. Singh on Glasgow as does my 3 year old. He is great! So is his staff.
