Places that engrave anodized aluminum? Hi folks,
Can anyone recommend engravers who can do anodized aluminum with a short lead time (1-2day max)? I have a lightsaber...
unclexbenny replied:
Can't vouch for this company either way, just found them through a Google search. Specifically says they engrave anodized metal, and they're local, not sure if laser engraving is what you're looking for though. https://www.allstartactical.com/services/laser-engraving
foodabouttown replied:
Check out Precision Laser Technology. They do laser etching of anodized aluminum.

What is your time frame for this to be done? I know a private individual who may be able to do this .... I am checking with him now and can get back to you

Anyone know a place that does clock repairs? Not watches, but clocks? I have one that was broken, and in need of repair. Similar to a cuckoo clock. Thank you.
Tina H. replied:
I have one, too, that needs repair. I was told The Curiosity Shop at 145 Norris Drive, Rochester, 14610. Haven't gone yet. Good luck.
Donna S. replied:
Chriss, I worked with a woman years ago whose husband was a clock repairman. Not sure if he still does it but worth a call. Wayne DePotie, Maple Ave, Palmyra, 315.597.2185

Well I ended up going to The Gem Lab. Had originally gone to jewelry store in Webster who said my prongs were loose that were holding the stones and wanted to send the ring out. Quote was in high $200. The Gem Lab checked the ring nothing was wrong and cleaned my rings. So I will be using The Gem Lab. Amazing service
