I would recommend Bob Paulin as well but it is called studio 4 now in St Catharine's. He has been doing tattoos for longer then anyone suggested here and they are breath taking

Depends on what you want done and I def agree with Mike Lukas' comment, but I like Henry Janzen and Rob from Niagara Ink on Ferry st, Niagara Falls. There's also Carrie Campisano and John Shabley at Black Bat in Thorold and Phil Voordouw at Artistic Impressions on Lundy's lane! Good luck!

Some good recommendations here but you want to go visit the shops yourself, meet the artists and see their work. You want to be comfortable with them and the shop. Any shop or artist that will not take the time to answer your questions, and make you feel comfortable, you want to avoid. Most of the shops recommended here will do that for you. Personally I would send you to Justin Winstanley at Black Bat in Thorold. I can send you some examples of his work on me and my wife.

I put my vote in for Golden Horseshoe Tattoos & Piercing. The owner, Gordon Martin Bouchard is a drill sergeant when it comes to cleanliness and standards in the industry. I know him personally and would vouch for his shop any day.

Thomas Prow in Rideway/Fort Erie is fabulous.

Bob Paulin does AMAZING portrait work. I have also seen some work by Aiden in St. Catharines at Artistic Impressions and he's a fantastic artist as well. I've had all my piercings done at the Artistic in Welland and their customer service is top notch.
