Try Big Dogs Pizza. In Lakota Plaza. It’s local and the owner is a Lakota Grad. Call ahead and ask.

Fig Leaf Brewery in Monroe is another good option. Just call. It’s super casual food, bar and board Games.

Is your father’s dog newly certified? In class, They should have reviewed this with him; may want to see if it’s in his paperwork. However, there are a some places like restaurant kitchens, parts of hospitals that service dogs are not allowed. Tell him to be careful taking him to Lowe’s & Home Depot where pet dogs are allowed; Irresponsible dog owners (not all, of course) bring their dogs there & don’t control them which can ruin a true, certified service dog, which means they can’t perform their very important, life-saving responsibilities. Avoid people with “emotional support” dogs as well-these are NOT service dogs. And there are plenty of fake service dogs out there that, once again, irresponsible pet owners try to pass off as real service dogs, which again ruin it for those of us that have real service dogs. So tell him to avoid these cheating individuals as well, because they unfortunately will be anywhere!
