Just moved to SC, looking for a Barber Title says it all. I just moved here from New York and I'm looking for a barber. I live off of Broad River Rd in Columbia. Anyone...

Paul's in West Columbia. Hot Shots in Irmo. Kings in 5 Points.

Frank's Gentleman's Salon downtown in The Vista. They're clean, professional, geared toward men (their man cave waiting room is exquisite), and they offer two free beverages (alcoholic or otherwise) with your appointment. They're the only place I trust for my beard. Their work on hair is top notch.

King’s Row in 5 points, old school good folks.

Anthony Flemming (aka: 'FadeGuru') at The Barbershop Grooming Lounge. He is AWESOME. Only person I trust with my hair and beard. Circa Barbershop is another one I have heard great things about, but I haven't tried them out yet. Anthony kills it every time for me. =) Welcome to Columbia!

Carolina barbershop in five points and ask for Rick. Welcome to SC

Welcome to the SC midlands...I got your back on this one. Go to Paul over in West Cola near the airport. [http://paulthebarber.net/](http://paulthebarber.net/)Clean shop with a great throwback look and real barbershop antiques he has gotten. Gives a great cut for a fair price too. Seriously, give him a look. I drive like 25 miles round trip to get a cut from him but it is worth it. I have tried [http://www.southernbarbering.com/](http://www.southernbarbering.com/) in 5 points too - the cut was good and I liked the atmosphere of the shop but it was pretty pricey.

Circa Barbershop has a few locations and they are awesome. Never had a bad experience.

You're willing to go anywhere in the state of south Carolina for a haircut?

Went to kings row in five points for years and liked it. When Brooke left them I followed her new business Savage Hair at 841 Meeting St. West Columbia SC. Text for an appointment 803-529-4940.
I've been seeing the same barber since 2003. He is taking a temporary leave of absence, so I need a fill in for the time being. Please share your recommendations.

Paul Grant, hey brother, thanks for the recommendation. I know Savannah Gwinn at Bombshell as well. They are very close to where I work. Any idea what a cut would cost?
David S. replied:
Ryan Shawgo, much appreciated, but cutting my own hair is not my scene. I budget for someone to do that for me. Much thanks!
David S. replied:
Paul Grant, they have prices listed on their website.
