Would anyone happen to have a picture of Dr. Bruce Berger, the dentist who practiced with Dr. Greenwood?
Susan C. replied:
Heather Huber-Gosch
Rick P. replied:
He taught me so much, and not just about how to hunt and fish. About life, how to treat people, how to respect nature, and what the important things really were. There will never be another Dr. Berger, not in my life anyway....
Jeff P. replied:
When was he doing his dentistry work in WC? Did he retire and then get kind of replaced by Dr. Ledbetter?
Laurie K. replied:
Wow, Rick, I had no idea that you had that relationship with Dr. Berger. I may be able to use one of these if it is okay with you, but I was looking for something in more professional attire.:) Dr . Huvar bought his practice from Dr. Ledbetter who bought Dr. Berger's practice. Was looking for some old photos to display and show the history of the practice. Thank you for sharing, Rick.
Laurie K. replied:
William Greenwood, don't you have some pictures of your dad and Dr. Berger together?
Peggy B. replied:
Check with Gene Pell. They fished together for years.
Jeff P. replied:
Don't remember him. Before my time? I'm 60. Dr. Roy Ledbetter was our neighbor and dentist. He actually climbed up into the chair and straddled me with his tooth pliers when he was taking out my wisdom teeth. Even drugged up I remember that pulling and yanking and cutting and cracking. What a riotous memory of that little office building behind Dr. Greenwood's clinic. He used to give us kids nickels and dimes after our torture sessions.
