Any recommendations for licensed plumber in the area? — to help with a kitchen sink fix

Whoever you use, avoid Golden Rule. I have had them try to screw me more than once. The first time they did a shoddy job on a house that I bought, and I'm not even the one that hired them. Instead of replacing a check valve on a sump pump, they added another one on top of the broken one because the tech was lazy. The first one got stuck shut and the backup water-powered sump pump had to kick in to keep the pit clear. That ran for a month-and-a-half before I got a bill for almost $5,000 of water usage. When I called them about it they laughed it off and told me good luck in getting any kind of reparations since I'm not the one that actually hired them.
The second time, one of my employees called a plumber at my direction because there was an issue with a sink at my business and I was out of town. Instead of just replacing the cartridge in the faucet, or even putting a whole new faucet in, they said they needed to change the valves, the hoses, the faucet, the drain, and all for about $700. This was on a basic of vanity sink. The whole damn thing would have been a few hundred bucks to buy brand new. Luckily, I caught wind of it before they started work and I told them to take a hike. Then, when I got back I looked at what they had done and not only have they left it halfway apart, they irrepairably damaged the sink with their tools. I complained and I was again told to pound sand. The manager called me back and said that they were going to ban me from being able to hire them and I said LOL that's great! That way I never forget and accidentally call you again!

Golden Rule Plumbing Heating & Cooling. They are fair, fast, very polite and great people. I have used them several times. In fact, they did the water heater at our house. I cannot believe you got thru 22 years with WDM water on one heater. We lived in our hosue 30 years and replaced it at least 2 times, maybe 3.
