You should look into the city's lawn codes before doing the xeroscape. Wvc recommends it to "conserve" water but fined me 1 k because my yard didn't meet their expectations of a proper amount of plants and trees ... "Save water, but waste it at the same time."

Landscaping companies book jobs months in advance, especially over the winter. I had to wait 2 months for my deck replacement to be scheduled, and then it only took 1.5 days. Have you talked to Rockscapes? Although i didn’t choose them i had a good experience getting a quote quickly.
