Whatever you DON'T bring it to Long and Mcquade. Fuck those guys!

Doc Sickstrings is really good, https://www.facebook.com/doc.sickstringsGuitar Works has a good rep (used to do all of Bellone's repairs), Rainer is his name, https://www.facebook.com/guitarworkslondon/ If you are on Facebook there is a London ON Gear Exchange page that has many repair and setup people on it. EDIT: Also Woodcrest Guitars, Jas is good and honest, does a lot of Gibsons http://www.romainpickups.com/WoodcrestGuitars/

Doc Sickstrings is great, as is Greigg Fraser. http://www.greiggfraser.com/ I have dealt with both and both have done excellent work at a reasonable price.

as seen in this post... https://www.reddit.com/r/Guitar/comments/4 ca5 as/oc_i_fell_a_week_ago_with_my_guitar_in_hand_and/ i required some serious guitar repair recently. i took my guitar to a highly recommended luthier in Stratford, Michael McConville. http://mcconvilleguitars.blogspot.ca/ I do not have it back yet, but i expect it soon.

Tom Bouda is your guy. He is a trained luthier who has a small shop called Carling Heights Woodshed. I think he has a Facebook page.

Touring tech here. I would suggest you learn to perform a basic setup and maintenance yourself. There's a ton of videos on YouTube. Things like fretboard/body cleaning, setup, intonation and neck adjustment. Learn to solder, too. You'll save yourself a lot of money and have fun in the process. Edit: if you really want to pay someone, hire Doc. Pro level work, quick turnaround time and all around great dude.
