Curly haired neighbors: Can you recommend a hair stylist talented at working with curly hair? Willing to travel a few towns away (within reason). Thanks in advance!
Linda V. replied:
Hair and Beyond, route 23, Cedar Grove. Low key shop. Ask for owner Sherry 239-2974. She works miracles.
Jeannie B. replied:
Alyssa at David Chad in Caldwell. She's a perfectionist though so be prepared to sit for a bit.
Kim R. replied:
Just had my very first curly cut done by Gary at The House in Millburn. He really sat with me for a long time and gave me a lot of tips. He's the first hairdresser to actually style my hair curly instead of just blowing it out.
Kelly W. replied:
Salon Jofi in Verona. Josephine has tamed my daughter's hair.
Anybody interested or know someone interested in a position for a salon manager, hair stylist, lash technician, and massage therapist for a salon and spa in West Orange...

Kathleen L. replied:
Figured as much. I used to go to Subway Salon in Millburn. Candace was my fave. That might work.

Kristin and I like Anthony Garubo in Maplewood. I go to Basile, she goes to Katarina- but I hear good things about all of the stylists.:)
