BK in south buff is good and cheap. I was actually just about to post looking for a barber in the northtowns since BK is pretty far from me now.

Haven't used the barber yet, only the stylists, but Cortos in Hamburg was pretty good. It's right around the top of your price range though, ($21-$24 before tip) but includes a wash if you're into that. Edit: wanted to clarify that Cortos offers a barber but I haven't used them yet, only their stylists. I'm going to book an appointment with their barber next time though.

Can't beat Gary's in OP, I have been going there for three decades now and they make me look good, even as there is less hair to work with. Gary owns the place, Mike is right of center and Brian is on the far right end. I forgot the new guys name but he is left of Gary.

How deep South are you talking. I'm near Ellicottville and cut hair. I'm self taught and can do some good fades. For my neighbor's and kids. I only use clippers I can't use sizers.
