You guys have any suggestions for a light weight tube amp? My band mate plays a tele through a 4x10 fender deville. Sounds good, but is heavier than a mother f*cker....

Peavey Classic 30. And get the Blue Guitar mod to be amazed. Also the smaller 90 s Mesa/Boogies or, natch, a Princeton or Deluxe Reverb.
A Hughes & Kettner Tubemeister18 through a Vox 1 x12 Greenback cab is crazy lightweight and sounds amazing. for even lighter, look at Orange MicroDark heads, though those are tube pre and solid state power, still sound killer.
Seeking input for a band name for an Alt.Punk-Pop-Metal-Blues-Rock-Green Day Quasi-cover band:
Here are some suggestions/Ideas so far...
- Haushinka
- Walking...

Punk/pop punk/blues is the antithesis of progressive. Don't do the progressives. The Green Day references are a no-go too. Haushinka and walking contradiction are the two best, but still just meh… Find a reference to a semi-obscure piece of literature you like or something. Steely dan (named after a dildo from "naked lunch") and Soft Machine both got their names from William S. Burroughs books, and they're great names
