I didn't like Dr. Cook. I did like Dr. Saunders. They were our family doctors when we lived there.
Allyson J. replied:
I had both Dr.Cook and Gritzmacher. I think your right Peggy, I recall hearing the same thing about Dr. Cook. Does anyone remember Dr. Irving?
Marian A. replied:
Dr. Irving was a pediatrician.....a work related injury? You must have been 15-18 years old....I have never heard one bad word about him...
Kathy P. replied:
Sorry, you are right. I was thinking of another dr. I heard great things about Dr. Irving. I was thinking of Dr. Green I think.
Marian A. replied:
I posted a question here about Dr. Egan, but I don't see it now...his office was just a short distance from Dr. Irving's..I visited a few times, and know he was highly respected
Melinda R. replied:
Wasn't Dr Greenburg there earlier. They were all our family doctors until I moved to Clinton and Joe Slater was my new PAC.

Serene W. replied:
Dr. Rindge was in Clinton, his office was in his home (he stitched up my head) And Dr. Cook in Saybrook always left me feeling like I'd been heard and he truly cared!!
Peggy M. replied:
I had Dr. Cook. Then Gritzmacher took over.
Susan H. replied:
I had Dr Cook for me and my kids when they were young. I remember him coming in at all hours of the night when kids had ear infections. He would think about what meds, close his eyes and didn't know if he was really thinking or trying not to fall asleep.
Kathy P. replied:
Personally liked Dr. Gritzmacher better - some didn't - but he never steered me or my family wrong.
Can someone provide a recommendation for a good primary care doctor in the area?
