Kim I HIGHLY recommend Alicia Booher at Booher chiropractic. Right next to Giant Eagle. We both go to her and so do the LeCorgnes and McAllisters. She's wonderful! Call me and I'll give u details. ..
Kristin S. replied:
I agree with Linda, used to see Dr. Booher loved her. She did not do treatment you do not need.

Have you seen a medical doctor or orthopedic specialist about your pain?
A while back I had some severe back pain for a month or so. I saw a Chiropractor about it. On my first visit she had me watch a video that contaned blatant lies (i.e. claiming "scientific facts" that were false). I was not impressed when I asked her for additional literature (i.e. medical journal citations) about what the video talked about, and she gave me a pamphlet from some School of Chiropractic. So she did an X-Ray, saw that my spine had some curvature, and recommended a plan of treatment that cost $400/month.
I went to my medical doctor who felt my back and noticed that my muscles were *really* tight. He gave me a series of exercises to do and recommended that I replace my mattress. Three weeks later, after doing those two things (and spending a grand total of $325 on the copay and a new mattress), my pain was completly gone and I haven't had issues since.

[Dr. Stephen Pettay](http://www.wellness.com/reviews/445237/stephen-pettay-d-c-chiropractor/2) over on Bethel is my guy. I've been using him whenever I need treatment (which is rather infrequently) for years. I'm not sure his pricing but I know it is fair and he is great and doesn't get you into a "program" where you have to keep coming back to him or you're in worse shape. You go when you need him. His wife Diney is the receptionist. They are lovely, lovely people! Worth a call.
