I would recommend Pantene's Beautiful Lengths program rather than Locks of Love...Here is how you do it! http://pantene.com/en-us/brandexperience/make-the-cut
Does anyone know of a hair salon that donates to Locks of Love?

My daughter just got her hair cut today and the stylist put rubber bands on her pony tail, chopped it off, put the hair in a bag and now my wife will send it to Wigs for kids. I guess locks of Love charges for the wigs but wigs for kids donates the wigs if the kids meet certain criteria. Wigsforkids.org.

I think any salon will donate your hair as long as you let them know right off the bat. My daughter donated her hair a couple years ago and got a generic, probably found on google image, printed certificate saying "Thanks."
