You may find deaf friendly doctors in the list at http://www.deafhealth.org/doctors. I have not contacted them myself yet because I have found mine. I hope this helps.
Looking for local recommendations for a Pediatrician. Westminster-ish please and thank you!
Noel M. replied:
Love Dr. Chung!
Brandy P. replied:
I saw Dr. Lieberman until I was 18 and loved her, but I don't like the location of her office or her hours. I love Dr. Chung at Carroll Children's Center and both of my children are comfortable with him. We have seen Dr. Rosner once and he was very nice, thorough and seemed knowledgeable.
Ashley F. replied:
Colleen Newman.... Dr. Chung is my sisters friends husband! LOL. I hear that about Carroll Children's too.
Glenda L. replied:
DR. ROSNER is my 13 yr. Old granddaughters Dr since birth and has been on top of many diagnosis that we feel others may not have picked up on and the kids love him.
Christina W. replied:
Dr Ferra in Reisterstown. Very sad to leave him with the move.
Sharlene V. replied:
Dr. Rosner is great! My grandsons and some of my child care children go to Dr. Seymour and Ignatowski!! They all very good!
Colleen N. replied:
However, Dr. Chung is good.
Nicole R. replied:
Dr. Rosner in Taneytown, he is amazing.
Erin M. replied:
Dr Laura Lieberman
Paula B. replied:
Dr. Chung is Ashlyn's doctor. He is very good & Dr. Cindy Newton is very good also.
Beth M. replied:
We like Dr. Gonzalez in Eldersburg. He is very thorough, on top of all the latest information available, easy to book, and always remembers details about the kids and family without looking at the chart first. Very friendly, bi-lingual staff as well. He's reduced his practice and is the only doctor there now (aside from the occasional medical student), so I'm not sure what his new patient policy is, but he's worth trying. (I wasn't fond of a substitute he used to have on staff, Dr. Deck, but thankfully he is no longer associated with her.)
Janice P. replied:
We have used Dr. Lieberman's office for over 15 years. We have been very pleased. l
Meagan B. replied:
Carroll Children's Center is the way to go. I went there when I was little and I take my Son there basically I'll say I been going to Carroll Children's Center for 27 years if I can't see Scobie I would see Cindy then Wendy then Shannon in that order. Not to mention they hold records for a very very very long time Ms. Marylin and Bell are both nurses and have been there since I was little. Yes things have changed but we have gotten very good care there.
Michelle O. replied:
Dr. Lieberman
Jason S. replied:
Carroll Children's Center is a solid choice. That's where we take both of my kids. In terms of convenience, I'd rate it pretty high. I can always get an appointment. However, we see so many different P.A.'s and doctors in the process, that it is really hard to build rapport with any one physician. If you want to sacrifice convenience for a more personalized experience you can get it there if you make appt's with the same folks. The only thing I will say about the joint is that the office is WAY outdated.
So I need some opinions, I am looking for a pediatrician in Carroll county for Amya when she is here and I also want to change the boys to the same doctor. Any body I...
Nicole F. replied:
We go to Dr. Gonzalez in Eldersburg! We love him! Have been using him since Travis was born.
Katie A. replied:
We also go to Dr. Gonzalez and love him. It took me awhile to like the staff as the lady at the front desk can seem kind of rude. I think after years of me being overly nice, she finally warmed up...LOL!
