Hello fellow GTO enthusiasts,I got screwed by my local garage, can anybody recommend a good/great mechanic for my 1970 goat? Thanks! Electrical, some engine etc prefer...
Jane B. replied:
Marvin Minarich at Marvin's Motor City might be far for you in Morris, but he's the best for all things GTO in Illinois, probably the best anywhere, actually.

James Korous?
Tomas C. replied:
Highline Automotive on 55 th in Countryside. They have done great work on my TA. I've seen a GTO and a Lemans in shop. I know he owns a 74 TA and maybe a GTO.
James K. replied:
I can take care of it for yoh. We do a ton of GTO and pontiacs. Www.canalautorebuilders.net

I too would recommend Marvin Minarich from Marvin's Motor City. Not only could he help you, he's a great, honest person.
Thanks for accepting me into the group! Does anybody know where I can get a water pump rebuilt?
Leo M. replied:
My wheels on the 66 are Coy's, I think Mark Lampka 67 has American racing.
Mark L. replied:
John Maniglia yes I have the correct seats. It's about 75% original. I try to buy and restore parts when I need something, like the water pump, it's the original pump from the car.....
Paul W. replied:
This si the best place.Make sure and send the divider plate so they can press it to the pump. http://arthurgouldrebuilders.com/
Leo M. replied:
Mark Lampka they are 18 x8 front 18 x9 rear. Pic of the car with the OEM wheels and Hub caps.
Leo M. replied:
Mark Lampka no mods what so ever. Plenty of room inside and outside.
Nice. GTO Love it 69 is one of my favorites. Of course I like 67,s I had a brand new one 50,000 super fun miles 4 speed of course. Muscle cars I would want a 4 speed much more fun.
