Allen Himmel has to be the best chiropractor. I was badly hurt due to an accident which left me unable to move my head to the right. Thanks to Himmel's efforts I now have a really decent range of motion. My wife was terrified of chiropractors due to a really bad experience with one. She went to him and was able to walk out feeling 100% better.

Hi Lisa! After going to MANY (including several named above!), I can genuinely say I feel really strongly that I've found the very best that there is right here in Weston (a resident too). I would have gone anywhere for relief (and have!) so finding him close to home was a treat. Dr. Hamm and his staff are wonderful and extremely personable. He fixed pains that I suffered from for many years that no one else could. I was repeatedly referred for surgery and epidurals and physical therapy- none of which I have needed since Dr. Hamm. I'm completely devoted to him and his office manager, Alma. If you check out reviews, you'll find most people seem to feel the same! As an added bonus - he offers whole body cryotherapy in office! https://www.facebook.com/NSIBROWARD/

It looks like whole body cryotherapy might be indicated as one method to help, and Dr. Hamm is an amazing local chiropractor who is the only one offering this in-office. Neurospinal Institute and Cryo954 are in the same office. I would definitely suggest consulting him or at least trying the cryotherapy? You can do cryotherapy even if you are not a patient, it's open to everyone. https://www.facebook.com/cryo954/

Kevin J. replied:
I have herniated l4 and l5 and go through bouts of this. Stretch legs and stretch often. I also found physical therapy helpful. Avoiding surgery and chiropractor. Feel your pain.
Christine G. replied:
Hi Nancy! I recommend the NeuroSpinal Institute right here in Weston SO highly! I also have herniated discs in my neck & back and was getting epidurals. After years, this is the only place that helped me! Dr Hamm is a chiropractor but not your typical chiro. He uses some specialized machines for disc issues that I had never seen before and his treatments were the only things that ever gave me real lasting relief. The staff is excellent and friendly too. Love this office. https://www.facebook.com/NSIBROWARD/
Marji S. replied:
Pain management often times does nothing. If it does work the relief is often temporary. It is great that whoever you are seeing did not feel surgery was necessary. Good surgeons do not operate due to pain. They operate when there is a medical necessity to do so. I would eventually go to UMJMH and consult with Dr. Frank Eismont. In the meantime you can try alternative approaches. Yoga or a good PT regimen may be helpful. Acupuncture/cupping is sometimes helpful. Dr. Fu Di is very good for this and has helped some friends. Pain sucks. Good luck.

Dr Grobin at the Cleveland Clinic is a neurosurgeon specializing in back injuries and saved my life. Dr Dawood is a pain management doctor at the Cleveland Clinic to who helped me a great deal and did neuro ablations (killing my nerves) and I haven't had any additional pain. I have 5 herniated discs and was scheduled for surgery and with physical therapy and their help I was able to concur this.
Don't know if he does walk ins, but Elliot Cintron at healthsource chiropractic is great. I've also heard amazing things about Rick Behar Chiropractic.
