Both times they did things on personal time, above and beyond the job. They treated my pet's emergencies like it was their own pets crisis, even when in one case they had just met us. They have my complete loyalty after all they have done and I have happy & healthy fur babies thanks to them - they definitely would have died without the top notch care we got, plus they offer to cut costs at every turn.

We used to go there too and had the same experience as you. We have since moved to Dr. Robin Kuhn at Silver Lakes (17780 SW 2 nd street in Pembroke Pines). A bit of a drive but well worth it. Much more reasonable pricing and great care. My neighbor had highly recommended her and I am not sorry we switched.

My cat developed a dental disease called stomatitis. He had to have his teeth removed. It's an autoimmune disease I'd never heard of. In Weston they wanted $4800. That was with a courtesy discount since I have twin nieces that r vets. I reached out to pooches in pines. They rescue lost animals on the streets. Their vet did it for $1100. She's excellent. Yes, I used Weston Lakes Animal Hospital last year for a dental cleaning. My dog was 10 at the time and I believe it was about $500. That included the blood work and teeth extractions. She had no issues and recovered well. I believe there is a groupon for dental cleaning at Weston Lakes AH that's now available. Might save on the cost.

Ask the butcher at Publix for marrow bones. Some dogs devour them but Mr Cole is a lab and chews and chews. I do heat them in the microwave.
