@Jay, 5-7-9 Shops was there in the 60's as was Carnaby Shop...and I saw many a movie in the theatre there

Jordan Marsh opened in the early to mid70 s. I remember going to the grand opening as a kid. I think they built a new anchor at the east end of the mall (open air shopping center then) for it. Food Fair became Pantry Pride and eventually Service Merchandise.

JC Penneys was there...I also remember at the patio shops...by Wometco theaters was a Chinese restaurant...and there was a store named Boys Town...I can still picture the salesman...he used to be almost bald and wrap a few strands of hair across his forehead
