Does anyone know of any good dog boarding places? I live in Westport but would be fine with traveling to the suburbs if the facilities are better. Thanks in advanced!

We have used Dog Pawz in Leawood before (83 rd and State Line) and had a good experience, even with a dog with fear of people.

You should check out rover.com. It's basically VRBO for dog sitters. The prices are set by the individual who does the boarding and are typically $20-$40 a night, and your dog will be staying at someone's house, playing with their dogs, getting a lot more personal care, etc.

We use Dog Pawz in Crossroads for daycare but also use Pawz at Play in OP for some daycare and for all of our overnight boarding. Both are great.

Deogi Pointe. Ton of room for the dogs and 32 bucks a night. You can even walk through their facilities on google maps. I highly recommend them. Little far up north but if you're headed to the airport it's real close.

If you really don't mind heading south, The Pet Ranch in Olathe is the best I've seen around and where I take my dog when I go on long trips. Huge indoor and outdoor play areas, even their own 10+ acre dog park.

Summit Pet Care in Lee's Summit is the best. IMO

Not a dog boarding place but my colleague house/pet sits for tons of people when they go out of town. She's super reliable and trustworthy and could probably give you tons of references, if you're interested. I can ask her if its alright to share her info in a message if you'd like to chat with her! She's in Lee's Summit but she travels all over.

We've used Petsmart, Puppy's Playpen and Pete and Mac's in Lenexa. We didn't have any issues with any of them really, but Pete and Mac's seemed to be the best out of those 3.

I can recommend Eagle Animal Hospital in Riverside. They have suites with webcams and beds that can accommodate multiple pets, if you're so inclined to pay the extra cost, and they can handle both cats and dogs. They are a bit on the pricey side, but provide quality care. As an added bonus, if you're heading to the airport, they're right off of 29.

DO NOT use dog pawz in the crossroads lol. Omg they are the worst. Read Yelp. My dogs were so messed up after that place. I use the Rover app. It's people in your neighborhood and it's cheaper/they get more one on one attention with my rover girl
Any Westport people know a good dog walker/pet sitter?

Nina Szulewski....I have a good friend who may be able to do it. She also is a new grad nurse struggling to find a job so she could use any gigs she can find!
Hi ladies- I'm looking for a great dog sitter to watch our dog over thanksgiving for about 5 days. She is a big dog but super friendly and very low maintenance. Ideally...

Ms. Holland at GFS is a dog sitter and will stay at your house. She is currently sitting for my neighbor. I don't have her info but you could call the office. If I see her I will try to get it as well. Good luck! BTW, liv and Bruce both have Mrs. Reilly!
