Thank you everyone! We got her in with Pediatric Dental Group, where my kids go. They are being very helpful--which I've known them to be from other experience.

I just got an email blast this afternoon from Wheat Ridge Parks and Recreation that the new spring/summer guide is out! I don't see the link up on their website yet, but here's the link to the PDF I got from the email: https://files.ctctcdn.com/e1 a62 a76301/4 cfd9 d56-5 e74-4355-b1 dd-3 f5 b0 ca4 f148.pdf

Thanks!

In the past year, we've tried Bed N' Biscuits, Best Friends, and Camp Bow Wow. Camp Bow Wow wins, hands down, for cleanliness, friendliness and know-how. With Bed N Biscuits, I noticed (and didn't like) small things like they never referred to my dog by name, not when addressing us OR him, or how when I asked how it went (new dog parent, first dog overnight,) they stared blankly, sort of shrugged, and said, "Fine." They did not inspire any confidence that they cared about what they were doing. Gave me an icky feeling, the whole operation, so we looked elsewhere. The Best Friends facility/program seemed better on paper, but I was put off by the dingy, cramped overall feel of the place, the size of the space my dog would have to spend the bulk of each 24 hour period, and that they put all dogs of all sizes & temperaments together in the concrete room to "play" if the weather prevents the dogs from playing outside. Full disclosure, we didn't even try this one--the tour alone was enough to give it a "no", especially since we left this place and drove directly to tour Camp Bow Wow afterwards. Camp Bow Wow is leagues above both of them, especially in terms of customer service. First, they require each new dog to come for a "test run" playdate before being allowed to board overnight, so you know all the other dogs play well with others. They have video cameras on the play areas that you can watch from afar (and we did, and our dog was having the best time,) and the dogs have a well-thought out and active schedule each day in clean, spacious surroundings. The staff runs on the younger side, but what they lack in fluidity they more than make up for in enthusiasm and obvious dog affection and knowledge. worth every penny. #offsoapbox
