OB/GYN Dr. Jensenhttp://awhobgyn.com/clinicians/jensen.html Chiropractor Dr. Lynette Hendrickson http://www.hendricksonchiropractic.com/index.php She is about a 20 min drive from Wichita, but wonderful. She specializes in maternal chiropratic, and pediatrics. wink emoticon I will be watching for the allergist suggestion. wink emoticon

Dr. Darran Jensen is really a great doctor for delivering babies, especially if you are wanting to go all natural or have a VBAC. Dr. Amy Short is your woman if you just want a excellant gynecologist, who will get to the root cause. She is a believer. Dr. DeGrado, and Dr. Hedricksen are both excellant chiropracters. I have also seen Dr. Jamie Steinmetz in Andover for some pregnancies, and really think highly of him. All of these chiropracters kow the Lord. I have also visited the dermatolgist, Dr. Martha Householder, and she was very kind and used more of a natural approach for some issues that I had. Hope that this helps, welcome to Wichita!

When we lived in Wichita, my OB/GYN was Dr. Zielke on Hillside (the log cabin building not far off Kellogg). LOVED him and his staff!! He's a sole practioner so getting in and out of his office was a breeze; they also did ultrasounds right in the office as well as blood draws!!
Susan S. replied:
Deidre Degrado and Dr. Jensen are both wonderful!
Marialena M. replied:
Chiropractor - I would trust any of the Dopps, although I go to the South Side office & see Dr Long there. Allergist & OB - would you believe my mind is BLANK even though we have both! I will find my paper/phone and get back to you.
Marialena M. replied:
Oh - Dermatologist - MOHLER is supposed to be one of the best in town. I haven't seen him personally, but he is now my FIL's Dr because of skin cancer, and watching my hubby also.
Susan S. replied:
We've been happy with Chrishana Ogalvie-McDaniel, a pediatric allergist, Dr. Scott is in the same office for adults. We haven't worked with him much but I have appreciated him when we have. They are in the Via-Christi network.
Marialena M. replied:
THAT is the allergist I was going to look up! Getting a new patient appointment with her can take a while (I want to say 6 wks from the day it was scheduled. We haven't made it to the app yet!) I've had my middle child at Md Ks Allergy/Asthma, and wh ile the Dr there is good. And he listens. AND he hands out coupons for meds AND gives all the samples he's got, I just haven't quite 'clicked' with him. So we're changing.
Lauren H. replied:
Dr. Amy Short of Prairie Gynecology is an amazing, godly woman who likes to find the problem rather than just treat the symptom. http://prairiegynecology.com/ She has been a HUGE blessing for me. For our families allergies we drive out to Hutch for Dr. Terri Lower because she does more unconventional tests and treatments than what the Wichita board of health would allow. We've been very happy with her! http://www.hutchclinic.com/department.php?id=15

recommendations for a good dermatologist that I won't have to wait months to get Anna into???
Paula Y. replied:
Derby Derm will get you in pretty quickly - however, I started my son on X-Out and man it has made a huge difference! Pain in the butt to order because it comes automatically but so worth it.
Anyone seen Dr. Mayssa Zayat before? My daughter was referred to her for testing. Her pediatrician said she'd be happy to send her to someone else if we didn't feel...
Stephanie T. replied:
My daughter saw her associate Dr. Hattar for gallstones. They are both highly recommended from what I've heard.

Dr Housholder (there may be an E in there but I think it's spelled not how you'd expect) at the Dermatology Clinic across from Wesley. There's a pretty long wait to get in though, if my memory serves
