Staying in Witchita July 22-24. What are you Witchtans' favorite restaurants, things to do, hidden gems in your city? Looking for pizza, bakeries, Thai, Vietnamese, or...

How did you spell Wichita wrong? It's in the subreddit's name. Personal favorite pizza is Wichita Brewing Company, but some do not like their crust.

Personal favorite Thai place is called Bann Thai. The food is amazing but comes at the risk of burning your taste buds off, they do not hold back on the spicy.

Delano is a nice place to visit. It has Picasso's for giant slices of pizza, La Galette for a bakery, and the Monarch / Vagabond for chill places to hang out. It's also close to the Keeper of the Plains which has a ring of fire display every night at 9.

Depends what your after. I admit, I'm a foodie myself, so I know mostly about the little hidden gem places to grab a bite to eat. Most of them have already been covered, so I'll keep my input short.
For Mexican, Villar's on Hillside is a great place to go.
For Chinese, Bai Wei, though they're closed Sunday/Mondays, but they are open till 3 am Tue-Sat for the after fun bite to eat.
Sushi is Sapporo's, Wasabi's, or Sakuras.
For Pizza, there are a few. though I'm ashamed no one here has mentioned Ziggy's.
One place I will rep, likely for a night in, is to stop by Wyldewood Cellars. They have a wine testing location on the West Side, and the Alcohol is all made locally.
Otherwise, Wichita Brewing Company, Doo-Dah, and a few others that many have mentioned aren't bad choices either.
